Western Maryland Food Bank, Inc. a nonprofit corporation, is governed by a Board of Directors and is audited annually. A true community-supported organization, Western Maryland Food Bank relies heavily on donations from individuals and corporations, as well as money from private foundations and grants.
WMFB acquires + distributes food + non-food items to member agency providers.

Where does the donated money go? Donating helps to acquire and distribute food and non-food products. As well as, keeping equipment updated, and operating a van, maintaining a large cooler/freezer and warehouse equipment. Donations make it possible for the Food Bank to protect the integrity of donated food and to keep general operations running efficiently.
